Birchbox Unwrapping

My favorite day of the month is always the day my Birchbox comes in. It’s just such a fun treat to get a little present in the mail & see what the samples are for the month. Plus I love to see what the box design is.

My December box was a good one. Aside from the awesome $10 coupon, I got a fragrance sample, which is probably my favorite thing to find in a Birchbox.

Walk on Air by Kate Spade is totally my kind of perfume. It’s clean, fresh, and feminine without smelling too sweet or floral. I’ve been thinking about switching up my standard scent (currently Classic, by Banana) and this is a definite contender.

Although I almost always love the samples I get, I’m really excited when they send me types of products I’ve never tried before.

These anti-frizz sheets by Nunzio Saviano are so cute and such a great idea. I struggle with serious frizz when I blow dry my hair and usually have to straighten it before any other styling. I can’t wait to try these out.

The other products I got were anti-aging moisturizer by Scalisi Skincare, Beauty Balm in Medium/Dark by Dr. Jart+, Obliphica Seaberry Serum for Fine to Medium hair, and a Style Eyes shadow sampler by Coastal Scents.

On a day to day basis I don’t wear much makeup – usually just mascara and lipstick, but this palette comes with pink eye shadow that will be so fun for the holidays. Plus, I’ve been trying to experiment more with winter pinks so this is a great way to inspire the effort.
